Carved wood Aboriginal boomerang showing significant wear from use, each end of the front side has enscribed images of "crosses", which may refer to the Southern Cross, a celestial formation in the Australian skies.
This is a genuine piece of indigenous Australian Aboriginal material culture of unknown age. We acquired it from the estate of a 30-year collector of tribal artifacts.
