Karen Puruntatameri, was born in 1973, the daughter of the late Eddie Puruntatameri and Maree Puruntatameri. She produces art reflecting influences from her Tiwi father’s style and her Arrente (Central Australian) mother’s work.
She started at Munupi Arts & Crafts in 1994, following her family tradition in decorative pottery, painting and printing.
